About the
Artist
Celina Bolanos is a Japanese-Salvadoran mixed media artist based out of Richmond, Virginia. They're currently studying at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts for a BFA in Kinetic Imaging with minors in Media Studies, Sound Design, and a certificate in Product Innovation through VCU's Da Vinci Center.

Their artistic practice is driven by the hardcore music scene, growing up in suburbia as a queer person of color, and post-internet art in a digital age. They hope to enter the entertainment industry as an art director/merchandise manager/graphic designer with an interdisciplinary approach to both sound and visual arts.

Celina currently is a Warner Music U Marketing Representative for Warner Music Group, creating content and planning events for a growing roster of artists including (but not limited to) Alec Benjamin, Louis Tomlinson, Michael Buble, Missy Elliott, and others.
Previously a Summer '22 Marketing and Design intern at Mythical Entertainment doing thumbnail designs, creating pitch decks, performing audience research, and formulating a yearly census for their growing fanbase of over 17 million subscribers. Additionally, they have also interned at The Rocks Management as an Artist Management/Music Industry intern for artists such as The Zombies, AJ Smith, Bruce Sudano, and Colin Blunstone.
